Eid-Ul-Azha is a festival celebrated by the muslims of all over the world to mark the win of human firm believe on his God. This festival is celebrated 2 months and 10 days after Eid-Ul-Fitra.

Every year Muslim celebrate this day to commemorate their love and gratitude towards the prophet Ibrahim (ASW) and win of humanity on God's trial.

The story Goes back to 1400 years or so, when one of the prophets Ibrahim (ASW), who was a noble man of that time and he was following the Islam. One day he saw a dream that God is asking him to sacrifice his only son Ismail (ASW). He saw this dream thrice in three days and then he decided to tell about the dream to his wife. To this his wife told, Go with the wish of God.
And then he approach his only son, and told the whole story, he also tells the same thing, Go with the wish of god.

Ibrahim(ASW), with his son and a knife, a blind fold and ropes in his hand went out towards the jungle. He then found a place and ask his son to lay down as he is going to slay him. Ismail(ASW), did exactly what he was told to do.
Ibrahim (ASW)then started moving his knife over his son's neck. He kept trying cutting the neck, but could not.

This was actually a trial taken by the God and to this the prophet stood well. So to commemorate his win over God's trial and his sacrificing attitude, Muslim celebrate Eid-Ul-Azha.

On Eid-Ul-Azha day, Muslim people in the very morning goes for a pray, this pray has a name "Eid-ul-Azha ki Namaz". After the pray they sacrifice a goat, who are capable of doing this and distribute it into the neighbors and call for a meeting. Every other person visits to every others home to celebrate Eid.
When they meet they show their happiness and closeness of heart by giving a hug to each other.
